Winemaking
Crafted in the traditional Barolo style, the wine undergoes a meticulous production process:

* Fermentation and Maceration: Extended fermentation at cool temperatures (24–25°C) is followed by a 30-day maceration on the skins. Alcohol extraction enhances the tannin structure, imbuing the wine with power and complexity.

* Aging: The wine is matured for five years in large, 2,500-liter Slavonian oak barrels, allowing for gradual oxidative aging that softens tannins and adds refined notes of smoke, white pepper, and sandalwood. The use of neutral oak preserves the delicate aromas of Nebbiolo, avoiding the dominance of wood flavors. After barrel aging, the wine is bottled and left to age an additional six years in the cellar, achieving remarkable balance and maturity.

Tasting Notes
This Barolo Riserva offers a multi-dimensional tasting experience. Blackberry preserves and white pepper dominate the palate, complemented by nuances of sweet pastry, aged leather, and balsamic vinegar. The velvety mouthfeel leads to a prolonged finish, revealing hints of dried forest berries and sweet pipe tobacco.
