Garnet colour. Focused nose with notes of ripe blackberries and black plum, dried bay leaves and tobacco. Palate filled with red fruit. Fat and polished tannins, barrel increases complexity without marking the wine, silky, full but elegant, with a broad and very attractive finish. Partly aged 18 months in French oak barrels.
